Given we had had a pretty stressful morning, Geraldita’s warm and friendly approach really helped us. Experience: I was traveling alone with my 2.5yr old daughter for the first time. I hadn’t been to LaGuardia since all the renovations were completed so I didn’t know where to go. I had my daughter in a stroller, two large suitcases, to carryon bags and a travel crib… needless to say I was having problems maneuvering and finding where I was supposed to go for my brother to pick me up. Out of nowhere (more like a blessing from above) came Cecilia, was super polite, found out where I was supposed to go, took half our luggage and lead us to the pick up spot. She made sure I was all set, and waited until my brother arrived. Best service I’ve ever experienced at an airport! Could not thank Cecilia enough!

Experience: My wife and I arrived at Kennedy to fly to the Uk (on Delta). We had no idea that we had to go through an elaborate 45 minute signup for a Covid test in the Uk, pre-order (and pay for) those tests, have the tests shipped to our UK destination, then return the tests within two days. To accomplish this both my wife and I had to navigate multiple websites and provide payments. Further, once we did all that we then had to check our emails and download critical letters providing proof of test purchases, etc etc etc. Hugely thankfully, we found Tomasso (or rather, he found us) just before we were about to get on the line to check our bags and get our boarding passes totally unprepared and without any of the noted docs. We still do not know why Delta did not inform us of these things but fortunately Tomasso was there to help! Deeply knowledgeable of exactly everything we needed to do he patiently guided both of us on each of our phones to get everything done. Tomasso saved us!

Experience: On our way out from LaGuardia to Manhattan, Mrs Alghazali approached us and offered us help as we surely looked disoriented! She vas very kind and gave us recommendations on how to get to Manhattan thurough several options. As we chose to use public transportation, she was kind enough to walk us through the ticketing machine and showed us how to get the metro card working for the whole week - which was VERY useful and helped us to visit everywhere throughout our stay at no extra cost. Also showed us where to get on board the bus and gave us precise directions on where to connect with the metro. Made it pretty easy to get directly two blocks away from our hotel in Times Square. Really appreciate the time and dedication it made our stay in NY start with a great impression on people. I´d recommend everyone to consult with information employees, especially Mrs Alghazali! We needed to figure out how to get to a shuttle, then a bus, then the train to the city, and she helped us buy metro tickets and even looked up our hotel to tell us which train to take. She was funny and kind, and wouldn’t let us tip her even when pressed. We watched her help about eight other people while waiting for the shuttle, and each one left thanking her and smiling. I wish I could find employees like Rosemarie - she is a gem.

Experience: I don't remember the exact date of my experience, it was many months ago. However, I was trying to find transportation from the airport and was astounded by the exorbitant uber prices and I wandered back into the terminal to try and find an alternative ride. Anne approached me, apparently spotting my frustration and approached me. She directed me to a car service kiosk on the lower level and even walked me there. I was able to secure a ride for far less than the uber rate! I was impressed with her service and was happy to learn of an alternative ride source. Anne saved the day... and my pocketbook!

On Sunday afternoon, while at LGA to pick up my mother after a long morning of travel, I ran out of gas in Terminal B arrivals. My car was completely immobile and when I ran up to the closest point, Taxi Dispatch Services, in search of assistance, I met Ms. Chang. She met me with an incredible degree of grace and immediately jumped in to save my day. Not only was she resourceful, reaching out to her team and helping to resolve the issue (connecting me with PAPD who arranged for a tow), but she was incredibly reassuring and kind as I admonished myself for running into this issue to begin with. Significantly, I watched her do this all while seamlessly managing other duties, connecting drivers with passengers and helping everyone she encountered.

Experience: I was travelling with my elderly parents aged 84 and 82 years old. We had 6 bags with us and because of their age, my parents cannot stand or walk for too long. We had booked a transfer service with ETS Shuttle Service from LGA to JFK, but we did not know where the pick up was. As I don’t have a local number, Mr. Williams quickly called Ellis Transport Service for us and established that they would be arriving after half an hour. He then quickly fetched 3 chairs for us to sit and wait. When the shuttle arrived, he assisted us with our 6 large bags all the way to Passenger pick up 9. Experience: On Monday October 18 we flew from Michigan to LaGuardia on Delta. We had arranged for a driver to pick us up. However, having not been in NYC for some years we were not sure where to meet the driver. We approached your employee, Rosemarie Reyes, for assistance. She went out of her way to help us. She took it upon herself to call the driver's company to make sure they knew the exact place to pick us up. The company kept her on hold for probably 5 minutes, she patiently waited and told us it was no problem and she would see that we met the driver. When we offered her a gratuity she refused but did give us her card with your contact information, thus this email. Ms. Reyes really set us at ease and gave us a great introduction to NYC. Experience: Dear We Soar Higher, When traveling through the Welcome Center at Newark Airport's Terminal B on the evening of 10/21, I was extremely impressed by the outstanding service provided by Andrea Toth of ERMC. Andrea assisted people who came to the welcome booth asking for travel assistance. There were passers-by people who looked confused and Andrea asked if they needed assistance. They did. One woman had fallen near the booth and Andrea asked if she was okay or needed help. When there was no one around to help, Andrea straightened up the Welcome Center desk area to keep it tidy and clean. It was impressive to watch Andrea. She clearly cares about doing her job well and helping others. People asked her transportation questions. She directed people to bus locations, offering clear and easy to follow directions, including signage to look for. Andrea helped people make travel plans from the airport to midtown NYC via the train and she handed out masks

Experience: Having arrived on a delayed flight from Dallas on American, I was attempting to take the AirTrain from Terminal A to P4. At Terminal A I was given incorrect information (only one shuttle was running, so I needed to take the shuttle in the wrong direction and then switch). When I got off the shuttle at the wrong spot due to the prior incorrect information. Jordan explained to me that I needed to wait for the next train. Needless to say, I was unhappy. My reaction of clear irritation was and snappiness toward Jordan was met with kindness and understanding. Before long he had completely defused the situation, and actually I ended up apologizing to him for my reaction! Experience: My husband is disabled and requires wheelchair transport every airport we go to. This time, our transporter, Syed, went above and BEYOND for us. He quickly navigated us through security, which is not easy for my husband. He was very cautious when going over bumps and going up and down steep ramps, which we really appreciated because my husband has a lot of painful metal rods and screws in his spine and bumps can cause him a lot of pain if you go over them too quickly. He took us to our gate. The chairs were full and there was a woman sitting in a handicapped seat, and he advocated for us and politely asked her to move since she was not disabled nor accompanying a disabled passenger. We were at our gate very early, so he told us he would come back and be sure to be here when it’s time for us to board the plane so he could wheel my husband down the ramp onto the plane. He did just that, but not ONLY did he do that, he went above and beyond and continued to check on us!

Experience: Charles was so kind to help me after he saw that I was struggling with my luggage while tending to my young daughter. He found me a luggage cart and helped put all my very heavy luggage on the cart and helped me across the street to the Lyft car pick up. And ran after the Lyft guy to ensure they didn’t drive away. I am extremely grateful for Charles’s kindness and help. I wouldn’t have been able to get my daughter safely through the streets with all the luggage and hail down the Lyft driver without Charles. I hope you will please give Charles the highest award and compensation increase possible as he really showed the highest level of service and kindness that anyone could ever ask for.
