I saw your employee with his “can I help” vest and my fears were instantly allayed! Charles Offinger was my angel in waiting! He assisted me with getting my 1st metro card… escorted me to what bus I should take to get to 125th and park (in Manhattan) and explained that I could then take the metro north from there home!! He saved me so much money and now I know the least expensive route for the future! Experience: Filemon really saved my day! He cheerfully greeted me as I approached him- and I was probably looking very confused (because I was!). I needed to get from the airport to my hotel near Times Square. I saw signs with maps, but had no idea what to do. Filemon asked for the address of my destination- when I gave it to him, he knew off the top of his head which hotel it was. I was so surprised! He showed me easily on his tablet the step by step directions for my travel, and suggested I take a picture of his screen on my phone. That was such a great idea. I took the picture, and Filemon even helped me get the tickets I needed for travel. I couldn’t thank him enough! Without Filemon, I would’ve had to take a $77 Uber ride to my hotel. He’s the best!!

Experience: Today, I was on shuttle train from Avis car return to Terminal B, with my daughter who is autistic. She is usually very good at keeping her bags, so I wasn’t paying so much attention either. We walked all the way to Frontier Airline counter and found out my daughter was not carrying her backpack, with all our passports, IDs and wallet with credit cards and everything in it!!! I was so terrified, and talked to 2 police officers who guided us to the train platform and talked to the man in charge. Then they found out one of the train worker name “Nilda Mercado” did spot my daughter’s back pack, and within a couple of minutes of stopping at that particular station, she quickly contacted the police officers, she was told not to touch it until police officers arrived. And they rescued my daughter’s backpack from the train and kept it at that station!! So we took the train, went for 3 stops to get the backpack!!! Thank God and thank Nilda!!!

My family and I were in the food court and COMPLETELY lost ( in the wrong terminal ) and had about 6 massive pieces of luggage. Jaime immediately noticed that my little ones and I we were struggling and helped us transport our luggage allllll the way to Terminal 4 to our pickup location!! On the way there Jaime recommended some restaurants to try in Queens, which car service was most affordable and even played rock, paper, scissors with my kids on the airtrain! Experience: Last Tuesday, I had the good fortune to ask Darlene Hunter how I find my way fron the arrivals level of the terminal to the departure level. None of the elevators were working and no signs of any escalators in sight. After a fun but exhausting 10 day trip to NY to visit family and friends, I found myself having been dropped off at the departure level of the Delta Terminal by the ALL Terminal Bus. Darlene, seeing a tried senior citizen standing in front of her counter, quickly and very kindly showed me the way to navigate the choatic terminal. With out her assistance I would probably still be standing on the wrong level. If only our world was filled with more kind souls as Darlene Hunter, we would be in a far better place. I asked staff for help and was directed to Alise. She immediately jumped into action and put out a call requesting that the trains be searched at their next stop. When the wallet didn’t turn up, Alise offered to help me file a lost item report. When we called to report it we discovered that my wallet had been turned in at another stop on the Air Train! I was not familiar with taking the bus to the train. I asked for help, and Ms. Hunter was over- the-top helpful. She told me what bus to take to get the the Harlem 125th Metro North station. She told me exactly where to catch the bus and what stop to get off and how far a walk it would be to the train station. She was so helpful and made the end of my trip manageable. Experience: My family and I had just arrived at Newark after 13 hours of traveling from Stockholm to Copenhagen to Newark. We took the AirTrain from Terminal B to C. When I reached security for C Gates I realized I had dropped my phone on the train. In a panic I told my family to wait for me and I ran back to the AirTrain. I explained the situation to Mr. Moore and he quickly calmed me down and got on the radio with other members of his team. They found my phone! I met the woman working at the Rail Station ( I did not get her name) and she asked me a couple of security questions and returned my phone. I was able to catch up with my family and make our flight back home. Traveling with two kids is never easy but Larry and his team turned a stressful situation into a fond memory that will stay with me for a long time. Thanks Again to Larry Moore!

There was a language barrier, but Ms. Phifer was very patient and kind as she helped this gentleman. Despite wearing a mask, I could tell she was smiling the whole time!
