Experience: Syeda Sharif provided the best customer service I have ever encountered in an airport. This was my first time flying at LaGuardia as I usually fly at JFK. With this being my first time, I have never had such a fast and easy experience and Syeda provided absolute sheer excellence. She guided me throughout my way in terminal D. We had issues with our ride not arriving and she found ways to accommodate us and ensure that we were not in panic. Not only was she kind, but she was very welcoming and warm. She was ready to help everyone around her and you could see the warm smile through her mask. She was kind, funny and creates great connections with staff members as well as passengers who come through LaGuardia. Syeda definitely made this experience one to remember and my family and I will definitely fly with LaGuardia again. I hope that all staff members can take tips and advice from Syeda as a role model for all customer service.

Christine asked if I needed help. I sure did. She was able to help me contact my son, told me exactly where to stand to see the car. She helped to try and charge my phone but it was dead. Experience: I had just gotten off a Delta flight that flew through hurricane Ida. I was a terrified wreck and very confused, had missed my car service of course. Christine was standing nearby, it was near midnight. She approached me and asked if she could help me. I needed help badly. From there she helped me get in touch with my son. My phone battery was dead. She arranged the call. She stayed with me until the care service showed up. She said, "Don't worry, I'll stay with you until you get in the right car." She helped me find it, it's awfully confusing at the pick up curb. Christine was so very kind, so helpful that it makes me tear up thinking of her. It was my 72nd Birthday. And Christine was the greatest gift showing up like an angel. I will never forget her. If her job is to help people I'd like her to know she deserves a pair of gold wings for so effectively helping me. All of this happened in Terminal D.

She’s an amazing employee and should be recognized as along with myself helped at least six people on their way from what I could see at that time. Experience: My husband and I were going to LAG to pick up my nephew arriving from Myrtle Beach, SC on Spirit Flight 922. The signs we saw said that Spirit and Jet Blue were arriving at Terminal A. When we got there we parked our car and we walked into Terminal A when we were approached by Venessa Tejede. We told her that we were pick there to pick up my nephew arriving on Spirit. She told us that Spirit comes into Terminal C. She advised us to keep our car parked where it was and to take the shuttle to terminal C. She also told us where my nephew would be arriving and where his luggage would be and also to take the shuttle back to Terminal A. It worked out perfectly! She saved us much driving and walking!

I'm not exactly sure what Ms. Downing does there at the airport with ERMC, but her actions that day, to take responsibility, regardless of her job description, to help a perfect stranger retrieve their property, was exemplary. If your company has an employee of the month program, Carol Downing gets my vote! When I had the chance to speak with Ms. Downing, she explained that she didn't work alone on tracking down my laptop. I picked up my luggage and followed the signs to Ground Transportation and headed to the double-doors that suddenly opened before me and there I was : New York City !!! .. After walking for a bit, my luggage and I find our way to the street sign that said "Taxi's and Ubers." Then, I heard a kind voice say to me : "Welcome to New York ! If you need a cab , you need to safely cross the street and come over and wait in that designated area over there." Experience: My connecting flight from LaGuardia to Syracuse was cancelled after a long night of holding patterns and forced landings, due to stormy weather over NYC. This occurred hear midnight. LaGuardia closes down at night, so I couldn't possibly hang around until my next available flight (5:00 PM the following day!). For various reasons I chose instead to return to my home in NJ instead of continuing to my ultimate destination, but I was clueless about how to do this. Charles explained a possible route (Q70 bus to 7 Train to Times Square to Port Authority) but in my exhausted condition it was all too much for me to absorb. Charles took it upon himself to walk me the entire length of the terminal to the bus pick up area (a good 10 minute walk with heavy bags), where we discovered that the only ticket machine was broken. Seeing this, Charles waited about 20 minutes with me until the Q70 bus arrived, so that he could explain in person the situation to the driver!

Our friend came in on 8/16/21 and we did not hear anything from him. Michael was so kind to let our friend use his cellphone so our friend can contact people he knows then Michael helped our friend get a taxi to bring him to the TWA hotel at Terminal 5. It was the best suggestion because it is close to the airport. The following day 8/17/21, I reached out to Michael to trace my friend's whereabouts, Michael went out of his way to report this matter to the officials at the airport. The airport official then found my number to call on behalf of our friend. Michael went beyond his duties and really cared about the incident. He made the right decisions in helping out our friend be at a safe environment. We are very grateful that someone like Michael still exists.

When there were no taxis at the taxi stand, she suggested Uber/Lyft, and went to see how long the taxis would be before I ordered one. Then when our Lyft driver didn’t see us, she hollered to her colleague to get the driver to stop. Along with how quickly our bags came out after our flight landed, this is by far the best experience I’ve had at La Guardia, and maybe one of the best I’ve had at any airport.

Experience: We flew out of LGA in Wed, Aug 18. My husband has mobility issues and requires a wheelchair. Our shuttle left us on the lower level of the terminal and we were told to wait for a wheelchair. An employer, Boufous S. came over to us to ask if we needed assistance. She told us if a wheelchair doesn't get there soon, she will take care of us. She got me situated in a comfortable place and took the initiative to get what we needed, coming over several times to check on up on us. When it seemed no chair was coming, she contacted her supervisor and told us she would take us up to check in. At check in, she got someone in charge of wheelchairs to take over. Only when someone else assumed responsibility to help us, did she leave. We were overwhelmed by her sincere thoughtfulness and concern, her sense of responsibility toward her job, making sure her supervisor was aware she was leaving her post to help a passenger.

Experience: We arrived in LGA a few weeks ago, our Jet Blue flight from LAX was delayed 3 hours and when we waited almost an hour on the tarmac. We have a 13 year old son who has CP and walks with a walker and a 2 year old daughter, it was almost 11 pm. We found out our rental car agency was closed. Lorraine Smith could see we were a bit confused as to our next move and she approached us asking if we needed help. We asked where the nearest open car rental was. she gave us directions and then suggest we split up because she felt that it would be too far for our son to walk. She was right. It took my husband over an hour to get a car. I had a screaming 2 year old and a handicapped son to deal with. Lorraine came to the rescue. She offered a snack to my son and talked with him while I tended to the baby. She never took her eyes off my son but I noticed she still attending to all the other passenger needs. She walks us out to the curb and held the baby while we packed the car

We were late so you understand that I was between confused and nervous, so I got off of the bus to the terminal and I forgot my phone! It was 10 minutes more I realized that I didn't have it. My brother called to my phone just to know if it was on the bus and Luis took my call. My anxiety was on the edge, he calmed me down, and gave the point that we would meet. After 20 minutes waiting on terminal D, I met him and he gave me my phone. I'm truly grateful for him - he's a spectacular person!

Along with many other uninformed people I made the last minute rush to do the same and board. While the Quatar ticketing agent accepted that of most, a few of us were denied access despite meeting the formalities. With 30 more minutes to board, the agent rudely told me I could not fly and had to re-book. Having no working phone line for the US or friends in NY, I was deeply distressed and genuinely confused about what to do next. Enter our heroine Jacqueline Green. She calmly told me she'd see me get on board. She processed all my stuff and went to talk to the Quatar agent and I boarded my flight on time.
