Experience: I just wanted to say that I was in a hurry coming through LGA and was totally lost and a little panicked and was helped by Angela Nerbel in Terminal C the other day. She helped calm me down and pointed me in the right direction to ensure that I was able to continue my travels. Most of the time, I breeze by terminal greeters and guides, and this was the first time (while dealing with a family emergency) that I ever stopped and was REALLY helped by someone in an airport. Not only did Angela take the time to guide me to my destination, but she was kind and concerned enough to ask me how I was after I blurted out that I was in the middle of a family crisis. She seemed truly concerned about how I felt and not just passing me on to the next attendant, terminal, gate, flight, etc. I'd like to say thank you to her, again and ensure that someone at the terminal knows what a wonderful job she does. Experience: Mr. Monroe Williams was a ray of sunshine for me today at LGA! I always dread transiting thru NYC and today I had to go from LGA to JFK to catch my international flight. Mr. Williams not only helped me find a baggage cart, he helped me load my massive 3 suitcases onto the cart and directed me to the Rideshare pickup area. He even gave me a Port Authority COVID kit with masks and hand sanitizer! He was courteous, friendly, warm, helpful, attentive, and cheerful, which I really needed today after a stressful morning. Experience: This was our first time traveling to LGA and having rental car reservations. We had no clue where we were going. We started out at Terminal D and walked to C. We were looking to the kiosk when Mr. Williams asked if we needed any help. Experience: Hello! Can I say that Luis was awesome. I had not traveled for a while due to COVID. I asked inside and was told the purple and red buses were right outside. NOT they do not exist. Luis saw me and another gentlemen standing there again on his second round. He came off the bus came over and asked us where we needed to go and proceeded to let us know the new set up. He was so nice and informative. I would have pretty much stood there quite a bit more v4 I would have truly realized bc of no good i do there - signs need removed. He was so helpful and had such a great attitude and his personality especially with traveling at this time. He had his mask on and did everything SO GOOD. On September 29, I took a transit flight from San Francisco to Moscow via New York. The problem was that I didn't speak English well. Experience: This was my first visit to LGA, and I had to transfer to EWR. Being from Texas, I had zero clue about how to transfer both cost and time effectively. This gentleman, Mr. Filemon Domingo not only helped me with finding the best possible route that serves my purpose, he took the extra step of giving me his metro card, which indeed saved some time for me. I am writing this review from EWR airport, and I can confidently assert that without Mr. Domingo's help, my journey wouldn't be half as smooth. Experience: I wanted to nominate Mr. Luis Rueda for his amazing customer service. My godmother and I had gotten off on the wrong Terminal and got lost trying to get to our Main terminal which was B. We asked one of the staff members from the airport how to get to terminal B, they had told us we needed to take a shuttle to get to the other side. We were on our way to the shuttles, still looking a little lost until we saw this bus pull up and we decide to ask the gentleman man who was Mr. Luis Rueda if he goes to Terminal B. Mr. Rueda as friendly as could be assure us, that he indeed was going to terminal B and would let us know when we got there. Our experience went from lost and being afraid of missing our flight to being assured that we were in good hands. When we got to Terminal B Mr. Rueda let us know that we had arrived, and we got back on track to where we needed to go. I really appreciate the help and great customer service Mr. Rueda provided and wish him the very best.

Experience: I fly into LGA and had arranged car service to pick me up in advance. I followed the signs to the new pick up area for car service but the car was not there. I received text messages from the car service agency to be picked up elsewhere- though the airport has it very clearly designated where to pick up passengers. Cloy saw that I was standing there having a hard time in the waiting area. He approached me to offer help and went way above and beyond to help me. He communicated with the car service and advised them where to go for the pick up- he waited with me until they arrived. He was totally professional, kind and helpful. He is an exemplary employee.

Experience: I flew into LGA without any prior arrangement for ground transport, beczuse a year ago, I utilized one of LGA's contracted Shuttle services; however, I was informed then that NY/NJ Port Authoritu provides free shuttle for passengers traveling via either airport. I waited for at least 15 minutes for the I formation Desk to be manned. Then Mr Monroe came. I asked him if he was going to be at the Information Desk and I inquired about the supposed Free shuttle. Before he settled in his backpack, he peovided me the Bus route number to take, where to exit, and where to pick-up the rail service. He also provided info on the MTA ticket purchase, how much the ticket costs, and how it works. The information was crucial because it hasbeen 7 years since I left NYC and a whole lot has changed with ground transportation. Mr Monroe, unlike many Customer Service Representatives whom I had to dealt with during my travels, is a good-natured person.

Experience: In mid-March, just as COVID-19 was starting to take hold in NYC, I got word of an health emergency with my 88-year old mother that required my presence. I booked the next available flight to where my parents live and headed to the airport by car. I didn't know how long I would be away, and I couldn't leave my car in the street due to alternate-side-street parking. I parked in LaGuardia's Terminal A lot. A few days after I left NYC, the lock downs started. I decided to stay at my parents' home to look after them for as long as possible. I contacted LaGuardia via Twitter, and the LGA Twitter account monitor kindly referred me to ABM, the parking company. Talina Espinal at ABM answered my inquiry right away. She assured me that my car would not be towed,and she provided me the parking extension form to submit. She also advised me to send her my original return itinerary as Port Authority would freeze fee accruals at my original return date. Amazing!

It was late in the evening and included a lot of confusion in the area of "For Hire cars", such as a lack of serve involving a couple of the car companies (Lyft, etc.) Simon Biswas was excellent in his approach to customer frustration and went to great lengths to help passengers sort out other options. He also was very helpful in assisting passengers reload their baggage onto carts whereby they might go to a different area of the terminal for other transportation. I'm sure any newcomer to New York would be impressed with his attitude and graciousness in a time of stress for many. Obviously, this would be a surprise for most anyone coming into NYC expecting so much less. Simon was a pleasant surprise, even for New Yorkers!

Experience: I returned my rental car at 4:30 am, and was informed to my chagrin that there was no shuttle from the rental car place to the bus station that would take me to Terminal B. I began walking, and spotted a bus. I tried to wave it down. Luis motioned that I follow the bus. I went after the bus, which stopped at a bus stop (which I had not yet reached nor been aware of) a short distance ahead. Upon entering the bus, Luis apologized profusely and explained that he was not allowed to stop in middle of the street. He assured me he would let me know when he reached Terminal B so I could catch my flight. He was also courteous and helpful to the other passengers on the bus. Thank you!

Comments: I originally booked a flight home to Louisiana for an important family event. The flight was supposed to depart from Newark and take me to Baton Rouge. At the last minute, I was informed by American Airlines that my flight had been changed and would now depart from LaGuardia. This meant that I had to drive to the airport, rather than take NJ transit, and therefore had to leave my car parked at the airport. I was really worried about what this would cost me, especially once my original return flight was cancelled due to COVID-19. I reached out to LaGuardia to see what I could do about my car, and got a prompt response from Talina Espinal. Talina was an absolute God-send. Not only did she assure me that I would not be charged beyond what my original itinerary would have required me to pay, but she contacted the Port Authority on my behalf in order to reduce my daily parking fee by 50% since I had originally not planned to park my car at all (since originally I should have flow out of Newark). Talina kept me updated on this process on an almost daily basis (for a full month), and, in the end, saved me $864 in parking fees. I am so very grateful for her, and by extension for LaGuardia airport, for being so helpful and understanding during this uncertain time.

Elijah was not only kind, considerate, and a complete professional, but managed to assist with bags (some were heavy military duffles) and navigate me through the terminal and get me all the way to the taxi stand with all of my belongings.
